One of the benefits of belonging to any professional organization/group is the monthly/annual meetings that are held and by participating you have the chance to rub elbows with other Central Service professionals as well as meet the various industry leaders and see what manufactures have to offer when vendor shows are part of meetings. Being part of any organization/group allows you to hear what are the issues that other Central Service Professionals are facing daily. What issues have a direct impact on patient outcomes,staff productivity as well as safety? The networking that takes place within these organizations is worth the price of joining. Join a group today and be active and share your knowledge with others. We all learn by sharing our knowledge with others. Some say that, Knowledge is power; but I add this to that statement, It is the sharing of knowledge that real power is gained. So join a CS group today and start sharing your knowledge.
